Sarah Hayes

Co-Secretary/Director

A not for profit leader, Sarah has extensive experience in philanthropy, education,
and the arts. She joined the Board in 2020, and is also a Vice President of the Calgary Stampede and Executive
Director of the Calgary Stampede Foundation where she provides executive
leadership to the Stampede’s youth and indigenous programming, its new campus
and community spaces, and its philanthropic programs. Prior to her role at the
Stampede, she served as Chief Development Officer for The Banff Centre and Vice
President, Research Services at KCI Canada. An active volunteer, Sarah served as
Chair of the Alberta Jubilee Auditoria Society and as a director with arts,
professional, and sports organizations. Sarah and her family are long-time supporters of Right to Learn Afghanistan.
