Afghan Fair Hosted by CW4WAfghan’s Victoria Chapter

You are in invited to join CW4WAfghan’s Victoria Chapter at a free Afghan Fair on Sunday, June 4, 2023.
Afghanistan is the only country in the world to officially ban women and girls from receiving an education. Girls over the age of 12 in Afghanistan have now been banned from school for over 600 days. Women have been banned from higher education for over 150 days.
To bring awareness to these extended human rights violations, Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan’s Victoria Chapter of volunteers invite you to a free Afghan fair and information session. Come taste authentic Afghan cuisine and learn more about current situation in Afghanistan, what CW4WAfghan is doing to help, and how the community can become involved.

11am: Doors open. Come meet the Victoria chapter community and learn more about our chapter!
12pm: Enjoy a free buffet style lunch including delicious Afghan dishes.
1pm: Hear from speakers including CW4WAfghan Executive Director, Lauryn Oates.
