AWCM – IWD Conference

Join CW4WAfghan’s Executive Director, Lauryn Oates, as she participates in a panel discussion hosted by the Afghan Women’s Center of Montreal (AWCM) in honour of International Women’s Day. This hybrid event is a celebration and comfort-filled experience where you’ll have the unique opportunity to learn, share, and be inspired.
With the theme Embrace Every Voice: Afghan Women Leading the Path to Inclusive Futures, AWCM aims to highlight the voices of Afghan women and prioritize the inclusivity of marginalized women within our society including Afghan women living in Canada, whose voices are often unheard, as well as those still silenced under the patriarchal regime in Afghanistan. They will showcase the strength, resilience, and beauty of Afghan women through captivating visual stories. This celebration is a testament to the diversity and strength of women globally.
